Being human and living fully is a complex endeavor. Symptoms like anxiety and depression, difficulties with relationships, feelings of inadequacy and other struggles often stem from trauma, large identifiable trauma that needs to be processed but also small every day trauma that often goes unrecognized. I believe that through sincere exploration we can develop a greater capacity for self-understanding and fulfillment.
I work predominantly in a contemporary relational psychoanalytic framework by collaborating with adults of all ages to address a variety of concerns. I received my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in 2013, specializing in Child/Family and Depth psychology followed by clinical training at The Maple Counseling Center. I earned my PsyD in Psychoanalysis from the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis in Los Angeles.
Taking a step toward finding a therapist who is a good fit can be daunting. The process of change isn't linear and takes time. It also relies on a two-way commitment from both patient (I use the term patient because it evokes the patience required) and therapist. If we choose to work together, I'll be here for you.
